II64

Good news! The days of sorrow and pain are over,
They were never so, and will never be so again.

Before the Friend, I was worthless as dust,
Now my attackers will also be struck down!

Misfortune does not trouble me,
In the Book of Life there will be no record of it.

At the great King's party this song was sung:
"Enjoy your wine, for soon the King will be dead!"

O candle, enjoy the love of the butterfly,
You will both be gone by the morning.

Wealthy man, make rich your heart instead!
Your treasures of gold will slip away from you anyways.

Hafiz: don't be troubled for the love of the Friend.
There will come a time when even the Friend will be gone.
