Society as a whole makes use of these tendencies toward association, of the desire you have that your fantasies be validated and reinforced.
Government, religion, education - these all work to reinforce some of your conditions and fantasies.
In this way, you are convinced that it is to your benefit to become a servant of society; to obey, to get in line, to follow the rules and the proper customs; because by doing so you believe you will be rewarded.
You will "belong," and your society will help you to achieve your fantasy "goals."
